His list includes W. G. Sebald’s Unrecounted (which Barbara Epler from ND recently sent me, and which is beautiful), Julio Cortazar’s Autonauts of the Cosmoroute (which I’m reading and am blown away by), Dorothea Dieckmann’s Guantanamo (which I have a feeling is going to take off for Soft Skull), G. V. Desani’s All About H. Hatterr (which I’ve wanted to read for years), and Paul Verhaeghen’s Omega Minor (which I helped acquire for Dalkey Archive).

All are worth reading, and prove that there are a lot of great books being published these days.
