Ibsen? Hamsun? Undset? Lars Saabye Christensen? Jan Kjaerstad? All losers.

The winner was Gert Nygardshaug’s Mengele Zoo, a mystery novel by an author Michael Orthofer hasn’t even heard of. (Which is saying a lot.)

This just reconfirms my belief that here in the States, would win by a landslide.
