You can also learn more by viewing the <a class=\"u-link-pdf\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rochester.edu\/human-resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/TuitionSPD.pdf\">tuition benefits plan outline<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2><em><strong>Tuition Benefit Updates <\/strong><\/em><\/h2>\n<p><span data-teams=\"true\">Starting July 1, 2026,\u00a0a\u00a0做厙勛圖\u00a0education is being prioritized by focusing tuition benefits on programs offered here. Under the updated policy, in addition to the existing eligibility criteria, tuition reimbursement for programs at external colleges and universities will not be eligible\u00a0for reimbursement\u00a0when a comparable program is available at\u00a0the University.\u00a0University leadership believes in a\u00a0做厙勛圖\u00a0education where the Rochester curriculum allows students to tailor their degrees to their interests; where, as an R1 research institution,\u00a0students\u00a0participate in innovative research; and with an integrated 做厙勛圖 Medicine system on campus, pre-med and nursing students have excellent opportunities for clinical shadowing, internships, and fellowships in a collaborative community, with intimate class sizes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the tuition benefit is increasing for\u00a0employees in pursuit of a nursing-specific program at the School of Nursing to a 95% waiver for all eligible participants, regardless of salary band.\u00a0This change supports and expands funding for those pursuing nursing degrees.<\/p>\n<p><em>Note: Employees utilizing tuition reimbursement benefits for outside programs may qualify for legacy benefits.
