As of fall 2017, approximately 430 employees have closed on homes as the program continues to help first-time home-buyers purchase homes in Rochester's historic neighborhoods.

The assistant professor of history is known for having students reenact battle scenes, conduct 鈥渞ocket鈥� tests, and write propaganda campaigns to try to bring the era of the Korean War to life.

Established in 1997, the award recognizes distinctive teaching accomplishments of faculty in Arts, Science, and Engineering. 鈥淭he recipients embody all that we value in teaching at the University,鈥� says Dean of the College Jeffrey Runner.

The University recognized the outstanding contributions of three distinguished individuals during Meliora Weekend: musicians Chick Corea and Steve Gadd 鈥�68E, and Hugo F. Sonnenschein 鈥�61, one of the nation鈥檚 most distinguished academic leaders.
